The Bridgeview Tower, likely the first of the big developments to be completed along Flatbush Extension, looks like it belongs in the East Sixties in Manhattan or even, as DumboNYC points out, in Florida. Like the nearby Oro Condominium, the 18-story Bridgeview will have fantastic views. Set Speed points out that the developer can’t seem to make up its mind about which brokerage firm to use. Having just set up shop on Gold Street, we’re generally bullish on this area and think that there will be demand for the 58 one- and two-bedroom units though the developers may have to soften the prices a bit. A half-million bucks for a 700-square-foot studio in this part of town is pushing it, especially when you could get this place at the BellTel Lofts for about the same price.

That’s new construction? It looks like some drab crap left-over of post-war high-rise development. Pretty sad.
I see this building quite a bit during my commute and it has got to be one of the more uglier buildings in the area. The friggin outside looks like pink stucco. This belongs in the art deco district of south beach miami. I can’t wait for all the graffitti that will cover that building.
I hate the color of the building. You can’t tell from the photo but it looks almost pink.
Re: website. I didn’t see a picture of the building in it, either, unless I missed it. That says a lot.
DUMBO is one thing — although frankly it feels claustrophobic, way too loud and lacking in amenities to me. But these Flatbush Extension developments make no sense at all. Have ya looked at the nabe recently? It’s got a LONG way to go before these prices start to look realistic.
Damn, they sure didn’t put much money into the website did they. They really need to increase their marketing budget a bit.
‘get the pleasure of city living without the headaches of city traffic’
says their website.
Who writes this nonsense….have they ever even been there?
I have no problems with the location,a area, etc but c’mon be real.
This is a very weird, isolated little street. I cannot understand why anybody would want to own a luxury condo there.
