Co-op of the Day: 85 Livingston Street, #2C
This one-bedroom co-op at 85 Livingston Street isn’t long on the charm, but it is clean, in good shape and, at $310,000, a pretty good bang for the buck given the Brooklyn Heights location. And just think of all the possibilities that the mirrored wall presents! Good times. 85 Livingston Street, #2C [Fillmore] GMAP P*Shark

When I was hunting for a place I saw a lot of studios for sale here, still are actually, but never actually bothered to look at them.
I’d consider buying this if closer to a bike path.
Good Listing, Should sell quickly. Great deal even on a lower floor, bet it sells around 295-300k.
@Johnife-I had no problem with the link, looks like theyve got a new website maybe its a kink that needs to be worked out. Last I checked you bought a home when you went to see it, not by looking at the floorplan on line, ya know there was a time when you didnt get a floor plan or even an picture before you saw a home and I think people did just fine + they have multiple and floor plans on 99% of thier listings. Ive had much better experience with Fillmore then most other brokers. Ive been dealing with them for over 25 years, they’re much better to work with then these Manhattan imports who dont budge on commission what so ever and would kill your 1st born if you dont pay them 6% on everything no matter the price. Tired of people knocking a company whose been around for 45 years and has helped more people own a home in Brooklyn then any other broker & whose charity work goes above and beyond of what most local businesses would ever do. They might not have a million dollar marketing budget but what they offer to sellers is just as good as what these budgetless corporate guys offer, and they are at the very least reasonable and understanding, and are real people not suits and ties with no souls. Sorry had to go on that rant, Ive been reading these blogs for a long time and some of the material on here is absurd.
“oh look. the geography police have arrived.”
Snark? On Brownstoner? Surprising.
Yeah, Downtown BK, not BK Heights.
I looked in this building roughly 5 years ago, and the places listed at 750 sq ft didn’t seem close. I know how it regularly gets exaggerated, and maybe it was the layout (foyer?), but the ones I saw seemed much smaller than advertised.
I wasn’t wild about the building, either. I’m not sure what it was… more of a “vibe”.But, I just didn’t like being in that building/lobby/elevator.
That said, it’s a decent alternative/upgrade to Concord Village, if that’s your style.
go on streeteasy and can find a floorplan.
oh look. the geography police have arrived.
This is actually downtown Brooklyn, not Brooklyn Heights. It’s east of Court St and right across from 110 Livingston.
No, I agree, it’s still reasonable. It would be about 2,200 a month to own before tax break.
Once you’re east of Court Street you’re definietly in Downtown Brooklyn, and there is certainly nothing remotely Brooklyn Heights about that block.
