We’ve taken a particular interest in The Silhouette, the LEED-certified condo building in the South Slope. Three months ago the four-unit building was half sold, but now a broker tells us one more has gone into contract, leaving one left. No recorded sales have come out of the woodwork, but after some price cuts the last two units were last priced at $799,000 and $825,000.

  1. IMBY- It’s funny- google now has the nabe tagged as south slope on maps. My block is the new epicenter of the south slope! I’m not complaining-

Either way- this is a nice building that will be even better for the neighborhood once it’s full. It’s been a slow go – but hope this encourages other developers to build like this.

  2. I far prefer the proportions of the Silhouette. The proportions of the building next door look off to me. I wish the windows were a bit taller in proportion to their width and the space between floors.

  3. I like the building next door, love the red bricks, love the brown windows with the muttons in them, That to me is perfect.

the new building, looks Ok, but not there.

  4. Very nice bldg and (IMHO) a sweet location plus brownie points for the LEED Platinum Certification; Silhouette is 1 of like 23 (or something) of its type to obtain platinum cert.
