Back in January, 111 Lawrence Street was a little bit glassy. Now it’s very glassy. Keep on keepin’ on.

  1. In reply to CookieCutterBrownstone, I’ll agree it’s not the most attractive building, but there were a lot of restrictions placed on the construction due to its location in the MetroPlex. It also hampered the concrete pouring that is so critical to high rise. Our company is installing the windows there, and while I don’t really like the color, Efco windows (now a division of Pella) are of the highest quality. I assure you that the curtainwall isn’t “cheap” as you say. You probably just don’t like the aesthetics.

  2. ^—- Really? Is this in the MetroTech area proper and Fulton Mall area or on the other side of Flatbush Ave?

  3. As much as I am all in favor of high density development in downtown Brooklyn. I have to agree with Cookie and zinka. Cheap, low quality, dreck.

  4. I love the height – the building itself is a disgrace though.
