The Brooklyn Eagle reports that The Andrea, the first of four residential buildings John Catsimatidis is expected to build on Myrtle Avenue between Ashland Place and Flatbush Avenue over the next several years, is ten percent rented after just two weeks on the market. We’ve built a very generously proportioned apartment that is very, very well priced, Corcoran broker Vicki Negron told the Eagle; there are 95 units in the building, with studios starting at $1,225, one-bedrooms at $1,600 and two-bedrooms at $2,385. Of broader interest, a spokesman for Catsimatidis’ Red Apple Group said that lease negotiations are in the final phases for a national chain drugstore on the ground floor and a “neighborhood supermarket” in the below-grade space.
