This should qualify as an “Under the Radar” listing, don’t you think? It’s hard to imagine that this place is getting a whole lot of exposure (or maybe the owner’s knew that we’d cycle by and be unable to resist the luddite charm of their handwritten for sale sign). All we know about the house is what’s on Property Shark. With a footprint of 16.67-by-30 feet and only three stories high, it ain’t big. We’ve got no idea what the interior is like, but that front door doesn’t suggest an owner who’s overly obsessed with historic detail. The number in the window is 347-583-4973. Let us know if you find out the price.

  1. I’m black, and you know what I hate? anyone playing the race card over something so trivial as whether you like having a basketball across the street or not. there are real racists in this world who need to be dealt with, sadly some folks can only pick on easy targets on blogs.

  2. here we go again. any time anyone on this site doesn’t like something it must somehow have something to do with black people. i imagine some people don’t find basketball courts to be especially appealing to look at or balls bouncing and people cheering all afternoon especially appealing to listen to. such unreasonable preferences! get over it already.

  3. Thanks all for the welcome to Brooklyn. My family and I have lived here for four generations, so we’ve had plenty of time to notice how poorly people can speak and act in our borough and everywhere else.
The thing is, none of that stuff is really ever offensive. It’s just a waste to time.
Not sure why people want to read through all the hate posts all the time. Not sure why Brownstoner thinks this is a good way to attract readership to his site to sell ads.
Finally, I would bet that not all of us are adults on this site. The only thing I know about any of you is that you all have a keyboard.
