House of the Day: 25 Clarkson Avenue
25 Clarkson Avenue was one of the early House of the Day posts, way back in October 2005; it ended up selling in February 2006 for $685,000. Now, four years later, the PLG limestone is back on the market with a price tag of $845,000. It sounds like some renovation was performed in the meantime…

Are you feeling that price?

BoerumHill,
The chicken-coop-like-thing clearly is another combination sacrifical pit/hupa.
BH: No, I haven’t spent much time in any part of PLG, hence my question. Thanks for your answer.
Park Sloper –
Have you spent much time in this part of PLG? 4 blocks south of the PLG historic district – and the differences in those four blocks is astonishing.
We have friends on this block who have a newborn, we go to visit often. They’re moving. I don’t blame them.
Anyone figure out what the chicken coop thing is?
This is the southernmost block in PLG. It is not in the historic district. The block is a mix of houses, apartment buildings, and vacant lots where houses were torn down by stupid developers.
Not sure, pigeon.
Where is this precisely? I want to talk the little yellow man in Google maps for a walk.
The apartment in the basement doesnt have a window in it either, and is there a window in a closet???
The whole entire house needs a full re-configuration, because obviously it was done by a blind person who does not need windows.
The Dining room and the middle parlor have no window in them.
Yuck
dibs,
Wouldn’t the presumably illegal kitchen and bathroom in the basement cause problems with the mortgage company?
Might the mortgage company require removal of the kitchen and bathroom?
